Geolearning in the spotlight at the Spatial Statistics conference

Researchers from the Geolearning chair will be honored at the next International Conference on Spatial Statistics which will be held from July 15 to 18, 2025 in the Netherlands.

Gabriel Victorino Cardoso will lead a workshop on score-based generative methods used as priors in inverse problems.

Mike Pereira, Edith Gabriel et Denis Allard will give guest keynotes, each in their area of ​​expertise.

An entire session will be dedicated to the Geolearning chair with presentations by Lucia Clarotto, Thomas Romary, Gabriel Victorino Cardoso.

Lionel Benoit et Thomas Opitz will also present work related to the themes of the chair.

Conference on stochastic weather generators

The Geolearning Chair is contributing to the organization of the conference on Stochastic Weather Generators, which will be held in Grenoble from December 2nd to 4th, 2025. This international workshop aims to explore cutting-edge methods and emerging challenges for simulating weather variables: precipitation, temperatures, etc.

First seminar of the Geolearning chair

The Geolearning Chair held its first working seminar from March 31 to April 3, 2025, at Villa Clythia in Fréjus. The seminar brought together researchers, doctoral students, and postdoctoral fellows involved in the Chair to discuss ongoing scientific projects, as well as visiting academics from Sorbonne University, AgroParisTech, Ca' Foscari University of Venice (Italy), and the University of Lausanne (Switzerland).
