Trained as a geomatician, I gradually turned to geosciences and then geostatistics. Since 2021 I am a research fellow in the BioSP unit of INRAE.
My work focuses on the study of meteorological variables at the local scale, their link with climate, and their impact on eco-, hydro-, and agro-systems. I am particularly interested in precipitation, which leads me to develop approaches adapted to intermittent phenomena. I develop observation methods (mainly from sensor networks), as well as geostatistical methods to interpolate these observations in space and time. Finally, I am working on the implementation of stochastic generators of weather conditions which make it possible to explore the variability of a given climate by emulating a large number of synthetic weather trajectories reproducing the statistics of the target climate (e.g. past climate assessed using observations, or future climate simulated by a climate model).
