Doctor of Mathematics from the Institut Polytechnique de Paris, Gabriel Victorino Cardoso is a research and teaching fellow in the Geostatistics team at the Geosciences Center of Mines Paris PSL. His main research interests are the intersection between neural networks and Bayesian statistics. He is particularly interested in generative models, implicit biases inherent in neural networks, and the use of these biases to solve various Bayesian problems, including inverse problems and simulation-based inference (or likelihood-free inference).
