Doctor in Geostatistics and Applied Probability from Mines Paris PSL, Mike Pereira is in charge of research and teaching within the Geostatistics team of the Geosciences center of Mines Paris PSL.
His research focuses on the development of statistical models for spatial and spatio-temporal data, and in particular those distributed over surfaces, point data and data from physical processes. His work focuses on the study of stochastic partial differential equations defined on Riemannian manifolds, models of spatio-temporal point processes as well as the interactions between statistical learning methods and physical models.
