Edith GABRIEL

Research director - INRAE

HDR researcher, Edith Gabriel is director of research in the Biostatistics and Spatial Processes unit at INRAE – Avignon.

His research revolves around mapping and prediction in spatio-temporal statistics. She develops stochastic models that integrate the complexity inherent in certain processes: non-separability of spatial and temporal components, multiple heterogeneities, at different scales, linked to stochastic influences, and more recently models adapted to spatio-temporal massive data. Its fields of application are ecology, epidemiology and the environment.
