The Geolearning Chair is contributing to the organization of the conference on Stochastic Weather Generators, which will be held in Grenoble from December 2nd to 4th, 2025. This international workshop aims to explore cutting-edge methods and emerging challenges for simulating weather variables: precipitation, temperatures, etc.

The Geolearning Chair is co-organizing the third workshop on bias correction in climate studies which will be held at Mines Paris from May 26 to 28, 2025.

The Geolearning Chair held its first working seminar from March 31 to April 3, 2025, at Villa Clythia in Fréjus. The seminar brought together researchers, doctoral students, and postdoctoral fellows involved in the Chair to discuss ongoing scientific projects, as well as visiting academics from Sorbonne University, AgroParisTech, Ca' Foscari University of Venice (Italy), and the University of Lausanne (Switzerland).

The Geolearning chair will be represented by several researchers and doctoral students at the international conference on statistical climatology which will be held in Toulouse from June 24 to 28, 2024. The conference program will soon be online, we will talk about it again!

The Geolearning Chair and the RESSTE network are organizing a scientific day on the theme of recent methodological progress for generative models (GANs, Denoising Diffusion Models, etc.) and their use in the fields of climate, environment and more generally geosciences, with interventions by experts in theoretical, methodological and applied aspects.
